By Schmidty - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Perfect Paperback
If you currently own or plan on opening a martial arts studio, you need "Black Belt Management" by John Graden. The chapters of information are structured in an easy to read format that allow immediate use and implementation. I couldn't put the book down. I kept finding page after page of resourceful information. This book and the NAPMA system will be the corner stone of our successful Tae Kwon Do studio. THANK YOU JOHN!!!

3.0 out of 5 stars Some good ideas, poorly edited 5 Jun 2004
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Perfect Paperback
This book has several good ideas about how to run a martial arts school. The content is good. Worth the read, but there is a lot of material that the reader must wade through to find the useful parts.
I am also surprised at the very high number of typographic and editing errors in this book. Even the name of the publishing company, Graden Publishing was misspelled on the cover, as garden publishing.
Surely one key thing that would ensure the success of any venture would be to have the name of the school spelled correctly!

4.0 out of 5 stars Usefull information 9 Mar 2010
By Ulf Erling Emsãžy - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Perfect Paperback
This is a good introduction book for new school owners. The book is however too thin and does not go into the details I'm looking for. The book also works as a sales pitch for his own consultant company.

You will get a brief description of what Graden thinks what is important to run a professional martial arts school.
