usb chargers are usually 5 volt output. This charger is 5.5 volt +/- 5%. This charger causes my mp3 to crash each time and so does not give a charge. Strangely it will charge my mobile phone. Be cautious if the required output voltage is critical. In the seller's favour, a full refund was given without argument or delay

Amazon Verified Purchase
This plug simply did not work with either the Samsung Z5 MP3 player or the Motorola Razor V3x. Both devices fail to charge, yet when connected to a computer or the Motorola Mini-USB charger they charge fine. On top of that the devices think they are connected to a computer which means that some signalling/power is being sent over the data channels. Avoid like the plague.

pay cheap, pay twice..this charger worked for about a fortnight before the earth pin sheered off when taking it out of the wall socket. The pin got stuck in the wall so I had to replace the wall socket. Nice

Didn't work
Black travel mains USB charger its good for the size but does not work with iPhones all models won't charge at all.

Doesn't Charge
I specifically got this for my Ipod but it never charged it at all. The volts is different compared to one I already have. Glad I never paid alot for it.
