Product Description

Product Description

The Black Knight QuickSilver nXS Squash Racket is a modernized version of the Quicksilver racket that won great acclaim in the 2000/01 season. While the frame shape and specifications have not changed, modern materials have been introduced and the racket structure has been improved for even better performance and power. The Black Knight QuickSilver nXS is a lightweight (a 130g frame), fairly even-balanced racket with a 487cm2 head size. It comes strung with PowerNick 18 by Ashaway and with super-tacky RAD Cushion grip. The Black Knight QuickSilver nXS will best satisfy those advanced players who like to volley.

Manufacturer's Description

A classic model reborn. The original Quicksilver was introduced in the 2000-2001 season and won a large following at all levels of squash. For the Quicksilver nXS, the original frame shape and specifications have been respected, but the materials and structure have been brought up to current standards. We have also pre-strung this racquet with the unique PowerNick 18 from Ashaway, and wrapped the handle with a super-tacky RAD Cushion grip. The Quicksilver nXS is an outstanding choice for both hard

I bought this as my last black knight racquet (Black Knight ION Storm) cracked after a few years of use.
This one is heavier than the ION Storm racquet but it feels sturdier and I think it will last longer.
In summary this racquet is not that light compared to other racquets in the same price range but this means you feel like you have more power for driving the ball down the wall and it is still light enough to have a control for delicate shots.

I bought this racket after playing squash with a Prince Air 140 which was a great racket for game improving. I then found that my game had improved as much as that racket would allow me to so I started to shop around for a replacement. The Black Knight QuickSilver NXS was the racket I eventually bought and has helped improve my game incredibly. This is a light racket and that is the type I use for my style of play which is mainly volleys and lobs, however with good technique there is more than enough behind it for a powerful drive down the court. I wouldn't recommend it for power players as there are better rackets suited to your style of play, but for someone who plays with some finesse and wants a precision racket to help further develop their volleys and drops, this racket is a great buy!

The sweet spot on this racket is small but forgiving, so is great for moving your game forward and I would say this racket is best suited for the intermediate to advanced player who have developed their technique and knows what type of player they are.
