Highly recommended thriller set on the high seas. I won't give away the plot but right up till the crucial moment you can't be sure how the book is going to end. One of the things I liked most is that the hero isn't a perfect James Bond type but makes mistakes. There's an important ecological theme too which makes the book stand out from others of its kind, but this isn't at all rammed down your throat, just cleverly drawn in. Very exciting - I will definitely buy the next book from this author. I've enjoyed his other sailing thrillers too so I was glad to see this one come out.

Anther book you can't put down. Easy style of writing, plenty of action and one feels actually on the boat in all weathers and entering the various ports especially if the area is familiar to you.I feel it would be enjoyed equally by men or women. Looking forward to the next book !

Another exciting sailing story by Sam Llewellyn who writes with intimate authority about his subject.
This is yet another in the long line of books written by LLewellyn in which he combines sailing with mystery and intrigue.
Because of his sailing background Mr LLewellyn makes the reader feel as if they are actually on the ship experiencing the conditions with the books characters.
Black Fish refers to fish that are protected species but are being caught and sold by criminal elements. This leads to mystery and murder before the villians are bought to justice.
I can recomend this book to anyone who likes adventure stories.
