Product Description

Product Description

''Black Everything'' is the new four track EP from Apologies, I Have None, currently a three piece after the recent departure of guitarist Dan Bond. It follows 2012's debut album, the critically acclaimed ''London''. The title ''Black Everything'' is correct in many ways. The striking presentation of the record; black vinyl, with a plain black label, packaged in an all black sleeve, is one thing but the music contained also follows suit as some of the darkest songs the band have written to date. "This record is certainly more depressing in tone than many of the songs on [debut album] ''London'' says vocalist, Josh McKenzie. "There is a broad underlying theme across the songs that deals with mental health and the affect a constantly fluctuating mind has. Raging Through The Thick And Heavy Darkness Of A Bloodlust the EP's opening track, is the first to be debuted from the new release and perfectly demonstrates the new, darker edge to the band, evident from the very opening line "I am gone, done, put petrol and a match to everyone". The band, who have previously toured with the likes of Boysetsfire and The Gaslight Anthem will be appearing at a number of UK and European festivals this summer including Camden Rocks, Groezrock and Pirate Satellite.
