This band consists of the two ex vocalists of Woe Is Me & a dj/electro producer Ty Accord, his brother Skyler Accord & guitarist AJ Rebello....right off the bat this is something a little bit different in a style of music that's starting to consist of two notes and breakdowns.

I love this EP, check it out

Great album 15 May 2013

Was super sad when tyler left woe is me. but i think is was great for him to go off and do his own thing, he seems comfortable performing this stuff, like he really wants to do it. But it, you just have to get over them using swag and that horrid intro. great EP though.

The Dead by April killer 22 Feb. 2013
By Engin33r - Published on Amazon.com
Ever since I first heard Dead by April in 2010, I set out on a quest to find a band that can exceed, or at least compare to their perfect blend of mainstream pop and Melodic Death Metal (screams-&-grunts-or-nothing people, this is when you stop reading). No one has come close, until recently, I heard Issues - Black Diamonds EP, and instantly bought the full EP.

There are people that, for whatever reason, love to throw around the phrase "breath of fresh air," "Unlike everything else in the genre," "sound stands out in a sea of clone bands." 95% of the time, it doesn't, or at least not enough to be considered a breath of fresh air. Then of course, there are reviews that praise bands like The White Stripes and Nirvana for being "different," often with the same phrases above (i.e. breath of fresh air). In their case, however, to me at least, that's just another way of saying, "You, your sound, and your musical skills are so bad, that it must be genius and we're all too dumb to see it." There's a difference between good different and crap. Opeth = good different. Sleepy Time Gorilla Museum = crap. Skillet, while admittedly one of my favorite bands, = cookie cutter. The synth and female drummer, while cool, doesn't make it groundbreaking. Mutiny Within = modern melodic metal perfected and untouchable by all in their sub-genre....but not uniquely groundbreaking.

With that said, I do not throw those expressions around lightly, and I certainly don't throw them around for garbage. In fact, I probably can't even count on one hand how many times I've used that phrase because it's rarely true. However, in this case, I am going to say it, because it's true: This is the freshest, most unique take on metal/hardcore I've heard since Dead by April in 2010, since Alive or Just Breathing in 2002, quite possibly since I started listening to metal and playing guitar/drums 17 years ago in 1996.

I will say I hate the name of the band. The epic sound deserves a more well thought out band name...not something that sounds like nu-metal band #437 from 1998, but everything else about this band is more infectious than anything I've ever heard. I always said that a fusion of Metalcore and R&B/Boy Band would sound awesome. Dead by April started it, but I'd have to say these guys damn near perfected it.

Trust me and pick up the EP. It will be the best $5 you ever spend on music.

Buy it! 13 April 2013
By EnchantedHeart - Published on Amazon.com
I was skeptical when I saw these guys live the first time. I mean, they cover a Justin Beiber song, so when they asked for a circle pit, I was like "that's just silly". BUT, then I listened to King of Amarillo and Princeton Ave and I was hooked. The second time I saw them I was ready (and thankfully they left Boyfriend off the setlist). Yeah, Tyler Carter's R&B inflections are a little annoying, but they kind of grow on you after awhile. Besides, Michael Bohn's firece unclean vocals and AJ Rebollo's jovial guitar work more than make up for it. Definitely give these guys a chance, and try to catch them live if they come to a venue near you, you won't be disappointed.

I love this band so much that I had to have their cd and a band shirt. And I got both not from the same place but I got them. Just can't wait to see them at warp tour this year. It's going to be awesomeness.
It's a good sound, I'm a big fan of this band 26 July 2015

It's a good sound, I'm a big fan of this band. The vocalist was featured on Slaves, Jonny Craig's newest project, and I looked into what his projects were since I enjoyed his technique/tone, and choice of genre to be featured in. I'm looking forward to hearing more from this band in the future.
