Product Description

This Black & Decker A7150 8-inch automatic adjustable wrench is a must to any tool kit as it has a good range of applications. With one touch operation the wrench will adjust quickly and clamp down on any nut or bolt up to 1.25 inches when you touch the button.

The A7150 has a 0-30mm jaw opening for use with most household nuts and bolts, is made from heat treated hardened steel for the most demanding tasks and has a soft-grip handle for added comfort and grip, especially when used in bathrooms, or any wet area.

This great spanner from Black & Decker will work in tight areas with ease and comfort. With the convenience of one touch adjustment, all you need to do is slip the spanner over the nut or bolt being removed or replaced and, with a simple push of the button, the jaw will automatically clamp the nut or bolt in one easy movement. There is no need to try and reposition or get tangled up when in tight or restricted areas.

There is no end of jobs the Black & Decker A7150 auto wrench can handle from: Shower head installation / removal, furniture assembly, bicycle assembly, automotive repair, motorcycle repair, BBQ assembly, toy assembly and many plumbing applications.

I was given one of these last Christmas, and sadly I think B&D rushed production in order to have them on the shelves in December without doing the all-important product testing. I'm baffled that they are trying to con the public for a second year.

The gearing on the jaw is set up for a very fast action, but as any schoolboy knows, this results in greatly reduced power. As soon as the gadget is placed on a nut and pressure is applied the jaw loosens, rendering the device entirely useless.

A small change in the gearing could have made this a useable tool - as it is it is very much in the chocolate teapot category. Spend the money on a cheap AJ or on a decent socket set.

This was a Christmas present for my partner (I know, if he had given me a vacuum cleaner, I'd have killed him!!) and he went to work straight away. Unfortunately the wrench is, although good in theory, wasn't strong enough to do what it says it does. So pretty rubbish really.

I had great expectations for this spanner, but it falls well short. It is clumsy, bulky and the jaws do not always work. The jaws will not open or close when it is cold. Being that it is often needed in cold weather, this makes thr spanner a liability. Am planing to return it to Amazon. Graeme.

The jaws are moved by a small motor via a rubber band. As, i believe, the weather gets hotter the rubber band gets loose and comes off. So you need to open it (using a philips screwdriver) and put it back in place... and then after you use it a bit it comes off again. The only wrench that needs a scrwedriver to get it working.

The internal mechanics remind me of a childs toy.

It works fine, when it works. Its a shame nobody at B&D spent an extra 10 minutes to test it and eliminate this problem by using a shorter/tighter/better band.. Its just extremely dissapointing.

Over the many years I have dealt with Amazon I have read the reviews of customers but not taken any notice of negative reviews UNTIL NOw, The packaging was more effective than the spanner as it worked the first couple of times I used it and I was very pleased with the product but that was it! I replaced the batteries but to no effect. YES, it is an adjustable spanner but not the instant job the maker claims. I want my money back - it is NOT FT FOR PURPOSE!!

don't bother with this wrench all it succeeds in doing is rounding the nut off because there is too much play on the jaws

The Black and Decker Auto Wrench is under powered and is prone to jamming, particularly when cold.
