This Black & Decker GW2200 is a powerful 2,200 watt electric blower vacuum that is ideal for clearing your garden from debris--from fallen leaves in the autumn months to grass clippings in the summer. The powerful 2,200 watt 2-speed motor, with its high impact shredder blades, mulches at a ratio of 10:1, so it will help to reduce waste and help to start easy composting. The Black & Decker GW2200 has the latest up-to-date ergonomic design, which makes the blower vacuum easy to handle and comfortable to use. A wet leaf scraper fits to the blower end to ease wet leaves from patios or driveways for collection. It is equipped with an innovative, easy-to-empty 35 litre collection bag that simply fits under the machine to collect all your garden waste for easy disposal.

I purchased this as a direct replacement for an older model which had broken after years of hard service.
I find this model even better to use. Far better balanced to carry than the older model, a lot easier to empty and far easier to swap over the vacuum and blower nozzles too. It even takes up less storage space in my shed too. During the recent snow I used it to clear my drive and it did the job in a fraction of the time it would have taken using a broom and shovel.
I think the only improvement would be to provide a wheel on the end of the vacuum nozzle just to make life even easier, but that is being really picky.

This product worked well,made light work of picking up the leaves in my garden,it had a powerful motor to blow the leaves in to a pile,best machine so far,the two before were flymo,did ok but was a bit heavy to handle.

Rather difficult to assemble.
When collecting leaves is very quick to clog up with damp soil etc.
Generally rather heavy and clumsy to handle.
I have not yet tried the blower as it requires removing one tube and replacing with another which I just couldn't face doing.
I much preferred my very old blower which could move from blow, suck or power-suck merely by moving a small dial.
The only benefit is that the leaves are shredded thus making them more useful for mulching.

Sturdy high powered
Ideal piece of equipment to have in your armory. Excellent high powered blower to gather all the leaves in a pile. The vacuum is good but better when leaves are dry.
