Have used the product 3 times so far and quite happy with it. I had read that the "auto line feed" mechanism could be troublesome but so far I have had no problems at all.
It is fully adjustable to suit people of different heights and it works well, the edging feature works well and overall it gives a good finish. By shopping around I got a really good price which meant it was actually cheaper than some of the lighter duty models. The only downside is that it is a little on the heavy side if using for any length of time. I guess that's the trade off for it being more heavy duty. However, hopefully it will last longer than the lightweight versions.

I need a powerful and reliable heavy duty strimmer to help deal with a large and overgrown garden. The last two strimmers I had were not really up to the job and both packed in.
I searched around and this seemed the best of the bunch in terms both of price and user recommendations. So I ordered it. It is no lightweight but seems well built and hopefully should last. The more powerful motor made short work of even the thickest shrubs and gorse, perhaps due to it's use of two separate cutting twines. It is easy to use, not too noisy, and has a reasonable length of cable supplied. I doubt if a better strimmer can be found for the price To summarise: Good: Great Price Strong construction Deals with thick clumps of weed and undergrowth easily Seems to be reliable Good length of cable supplied Fairly quiet Bad: Heavy to hold and operate for any length of time Assembly instructions are not so good as they might be Complex twin twine assembly makes changing twine difficult and fiddly The (unncessary) metal guide bar came off on the first day and has been lost.

Just moved into a house with a small uneven lawn with a fence around, was thinking about a mower but went for this strimmer instead. Made the right choice I think. Just feels good to use and plenty of power. Now I need a rake.
