The Black And Decker GK2240T is a powerful 2200w High Performance Chainsaw with a High Torque Motor with a rapid rate of cut - cuts a 30cm log in 6.0 seconds. It has a tool free chain tensioning system for simple fitting and adjustment of chain. Fitted with a 40 cm bar for the larger cutting tasks together with electronic soft start and advanced interlinked braking which stops chain in less than 0.15 second and front brake indicator to show tool operational status. An Integrated auto oiling system lubricates chain for reduced chain wear & more efficient cutting. Hard steel spiked bumper improves stability for controlled cutting. The Front textured and rear soft grip handles offer improved comfort and control during use and the integrated second handle / motor head design compliments the tools robustness.

I purchased this GK2240T chainsaw as a replacement for another B&D 40cm saw. It arrived within a few days of ordering (very fast) and I used it immediately. It is much better than the older version. The chaion speed is much faster, motor is stronger and being avble to tension the chain without the need for any tools is great. Also the oil tank is better located and easier to fill. Overall, it is easier to operate. I am etremely happy with my purchase.

Chainsaw delivers as promised. Powerfull, cuts straight thru 6 to 8 inch logs which is all I need it for. Easy to set up, simple to tension blade. Blade stops instantly when trigger is released.

I am a compleat novice with with a chainsaw and found this product very easy to use, follow the instructions to the book and you will have no problems. I felled a 30 foot tree very easy and quickly, very good and powerfull tool. You will need more chain oil not enough supplied to do much work.
