The DV9605TN-GB is a 9.6v cordless cyclonic action dustbuster hand-held vacuum cleaner which is ideal for general cleaning tasks around the home. A handy turbo brush is also included, as well as a crevice tool to get into those hard to reach areas.
The hand-held vacuum cleaner has cyclonic action which spins dirt away from the filter maintaining optimum suction power. The DV9605TN-GB also features a double filtration system which means it performs better and lasts longer. It has a 1000 litre/min airflow and 16 watt power (air watts). The hand-held has a 10 minute run time. The DV9605TN-GB also has a multi-surface charging base, so it can be wall mounted or kept on the worktop. The on-board indicator light indicates when the unit is charging.

A solidly built hand held vac with a reasonable suction power and battery life before recharge to make it useful around the house and for car mat and upholstery cleaning. It comes with a powered brush head accessory and two small attachments for getting into crevices.Emptying and cleaning are easy.
It does have two serious problems.
1) The on off switch which should be oh so simple has been designed as a recess in the plastic into which you have to press your thumb to operate it, for fun it has been made with sharp hard edges and very stiff to move. After a few operations your thumb throbs. People with weakened hands will have severe problems and anyone with arthritis had best avoid this product.
2) Those on sale at present in UK shops have the problem that the powered brush accessory does not fit properly on the nose of the vac (manufacturing fault)and for that reason will not work.

the B and D arrived promptly and I couldn't wait for it to charge up.(16hrs) When I used it I was delighted. It has good suction and lasts well. Also the bracket that goes with it is smaller and neater than my last one which was about 5 years old.

We bought this one to fix four brats: one Pekinese, an Angora, and two home-raised toms (without pedigree, the breed is unknown). It does the job - at least for the time being. Efficient and powerful enough, so it's worth the money. Doesn't take space - the charger is fixed on the wall. No problems with the switch or whatever. One contra: spare filters should either come with the set, or might be available separately - until now didn't find any on the island (Cyprus, not England)

Dreadful piece of kit
Really disappointed with this vacuum cleaner. Used only for picking up crumbs etc., the rotary brush soon failed and the belt slips off as soon as it's started. Read more
