I borrowed the book from the library and am in the process of making an outdoor table/stool set based on a project featured in the book. Although the project comes with a material list, 3D sketches of the project with some dimensions noted, some instructions on how to do certain cuts, and photos featuring several of the steps, so far every step of the way I had to take educated guesses on what materials/steps are really required to complete the project as a lot of the information is either missing or incorrect. From the start, the material list has the wrong dimensions on the wood needed for one of the components. The sketches do not appear to match the final product, or components seen in the photos showing intermediate steps. Layouts in the sketches also sometimes do not match the written instructions. Many of the critical measurements are missing; I had to reconstructed them by carefully measuring the dimensions shown in the photos. Some of the measurements called for are obviously wrong.
The bottomline is the book may be good for getting project ideas. Do not count on the details of the plans.
