Well written, a good solid story, with believable main characters. I like Moran's human frailty, and though this particular tale is bleak and harsh, it rhymes well with Moran's own problems. A good read all round.

I found this author/book from a tweet by an author I already followed on Twitter, read the blurb, looked at the price and thought - hey, why not...
To say that I wasn't disappointed would be a gross understatement. The story grabbed me from the start and never let up until the final pages, taking me through perfectly credible and well orchestrated twists and turns throughout.
The book is well written, characterisation is excellent. I especially like the slightly flawed DCI Moran - I hope he returns...
This book certainly puts Mr Hunter on my "one to watch out for" list.

A tempting sampler at the end of another book, tempted me to this one. Its compelling reading from the start, with many twists and turns, the caracters are interesting and mix well with one another, a few surprises along the way.
