Well I must admit when my girlfriend made me sit through this at the cinema I thought I was about to watch another teen slash suckie remake...I was right about the remake and this far from sucked, I sat back and jumped at a few parts. This movie is awesome and bloody violent and edgey it silently laughs at teen flicks every chance it gets by offering up a spunky cast of babes, each have many lines and each played well so we are never quite sure who will be the Neve Campbell survivor. To sum up this movie as well as the original are a must own factor for any self respecting citizen of horror and this gleefully pisses all over the teen slashers of the 90's as it rightfully should there is no comedy/horror anywhere near this title it is just all out serious and harsh. Dont take your eyes off the ceiling!

I just recently saw this movie, after reading a lot of negative
comments about this movie. I can say this movie is absolutly not as bad
as they say. Firstly you can not compare it to the original. Where the
original showed no gore and was creepy, this one is more entertaining and
gory!! Okay it is CHEESY, but it is hell of fun!!
Don't expect a solid story like SAW, but just open your minds and enjoy the ride to a fun slasher flick done 80's style.

Just bare in mind that the UK version is different to US version.
At least one murder is completely different and the end is also different!
So if you liked the movie, you maybe interested at giving a look at the American version! Enjoy!

Well, this movie is not as cold and serious as the 1974 original from Director Bob Clark. Funny, gore, and devilish are the words that come to my mind when I think of this movie ! So if you like that kind of movies, this one's for you ! It's the perfect "dish" for those who don't really like the "kindness" of Christmas ! Just like me !
Or a fun Christmas present to offer to the ones you really want to surprise !
I loved the actresses, especially Mary Elizabeth Winstead (also in the cast of Final Destination 3 made by the same Director as this movie's) even if she has a little role.
The story is good enough to make you wonder long enough about the true identity of the killer... (I don't tell who is "the killer" because it wouldn't be fair for those who never watched it)
And don't forget to watch the original Black Christmas which is a good old slasher movie !
