Product Description

This design follows on from the success of our box appetit lunchbox. It is half the width of the original design and this allows you to carry it upright in your bag. The volume is perfect for pasta, rice or even sushi. We have also added a clip to hold the fork (or your own chopsticks).

Box Contains

  • 1 × lunch box
  • 1 × sauce pot
  • 1 × fork

At first I really liked this sleek and stylish lunchbox - it's compact size, removable dividers and cutlery and sauce containers made it excellent for taking leftovers in to work for lunch, as well as it's pressure-release valve and cute colour scheme.

However, I'd used it about three times when it broke - part of the plastic which holds the clip on just snapped off. It hadn't been dropped, overfilled or mistreated in any way, in fact I hadn't even put it through the dishwasher. Happily, I contacted the makers of this product about the faulty lid and they sent me another one, free of charge, the following day. I'm now able to use my chic little lunch box every day for my lunches.

Having purchased two of the black & red lunchboxes (both sizes) as recommended by a work colleague, I am sorely disappointed with this product. Am waiting to hear back from my work colleague to see if he has had a similar problem after putting it in the microwave.

Must point out that I have used the lunchbox a handful of times, and both my lunchboxes have bowed on the lid and now they leak. For the price tag of what this costs compared to your usual standard lock and clip tupperware lunch boxes, this fails to meet the standard and is definitely not fit for purpose.

Normally I wouldn't bother wasting my time to make a video and would just stick to writing a review of my experience of using the product. You should be able to see from my uploaded vid on here that this product isn't worth buying (unless you are intending on using the lunchbox for dry food / non liquids).

It looks good but that's about it. Worked fine for a few days then the lid broke, they sent a "new and improved" lid and that one leaked and then broke. I'm not heavy handed at all, it's a design flaw and an issue on many of their products.

The inserts are largely useless and if you try and use them your food falls out of the box. The lid can apparently be used as a dip container but it doesn't sit flat on the table. The combination knife and fork has less cutting ability than...a fork. I'm not that keen on having the fork stored on the outside of the box, you have to wash it before you can use it which isn't always possible or convenient.

In the end I switched to a plastic box from a supermarket. It costs £3 doesn't leak, doesn't break and the fork is inside it. It's not as pretty but my lunch doesn't fall out of it, which for me is a higher priority.

I wanted to like this but it's all style and no substance, and it's not stylish enough to excuse the fact that it doesn't function.

this is a brilliant little lunch box.
so far not suffered from any of the clasps breaking as some reviewers have cited.
it looks good, the little divider allows to keep two different snack types without cross contamination.
The fork is a great touch, almost full size and strong plastic, not like the cheap throwaway forks you can get.
There is also a little container for holding dips or sauces in so your food doesn't get all messed up until you want it to.
A nice size too, looked a little small at first, but is actually a good size for a midday snack - you wont get a three course meal in it - but why would you want to.

Looks great, don't really use the sub dividers that come with it and it will contain enough for a full sized lunch. The only minor point is that the rubber seal that goes around the box does tend to come off after a couple of weeks after using it every day.

Once it does, can reattach ok but never seems as tight as before. Design would be better if it came with some type of 'lip' you could hook that under.

Even so, still very happy with the product

Even though the lunch box seems to be small, it isn't! You can fill it in with normal lunch portion, and normal for me means a big one - I love to eat ;) I use it almost every day. My wife cooks lunch and I take it with me to the office.
The lid fits in easily and it doesn't leak. It contains the separator, which is rather meant to be used to separate non-liquid meals. The small container for a dip is also very handy.
    Everyone likes the design ;)

Brilliant innovative lunch box hoping it will encourage me to be more creative with my lunches at work. Only problem is in the photo on Amazon (and on the packaging for the box it arrives in) it shows chopsticks yet the product doesn't come with any.

Perfect for salads, pasta or rice dishes. I usually make extra for tea and stick the left overs in this to re-heat in work.

Only reason it isn't 5 stars is the missing chopsticks.

I've now used my lunch box several times, so far it's been great and the clips seem robust and effective - it's a simply clip-lock style mechanism, so there's not much that can go wrong. And if I'm planning to transport anything particularly messy I'd pop it in a plastic bag just to be on the safe side. The sauce/dressing pot is leak-proof - I've been using it for salad dressings and no spillages to date. The whole shebang has a lovely ergonomic feel to it, and is pleasingly compact; it's also a great way to regulate portions as it's just the right size for a working lunch - no chance of dopey afternoons due to overfeeding at lunchtime! All in all very pleased; expensive, but good quality and so much more appealing than straightforward tupperware - it's definitely encouraged me to be more creative with my lunches.
