Some animals just look weird. Take the mandrill, whose outrageous face is coloured to mimic its genitals, or the star-nosed mole whose nose sprouts 22 fleshy tentacles. This is a great book and lives up to it's name. Beautiful photography and informative text that includes humorous comments make it a relaxing read.
The only criticism I have is that, in order to keep the size of the book down they have used a smaller than usual font which is a little hard to read for short sighted folk, especially when the text is white on a coloured photograph background
