Product Description

Greer Swope has something to prove. But even she doesn't quite know what.
Always believing that even if she was good enough for nothing else, she was good enough on a horse. History hasn't borne that out. Now Greer's left equitation and hunter classes behind for show jumping but it won't happen overnight. It might even take the help of a new trainer. Enter Cameron Rafferty whose horse is lame, who was fired from his last job and who wants the newest Bittersweet prospect. He’s one of the top riders and he is a player. Can Greer handle her horse, Counterpoint, and Cam Rafferty, too?
Talia can only look on at what might be the latest train wreck.

More About the Author

Barbara got her first horse, Country Squire, when she was eleven years old and considers herself lucky to have spent at least as much time on him as she did in the dirt. Next came Yankee Doodle who was far more cooperative and patient with her. Over the years, she showed in equitation classes, hunter classes, went on hunter paces, taught horseback riding at her stable called Sunshine Farm, and went fox hunting on an Appaloosa who would jump anything. With her Dutch Warmblood, Barbara began eventing and again found herself on a horse with great patience and who definitely taught her everything important she knows about horses.

Yet another addictive book in the bittersweet farm trilogy. It keeps you reading to see how the girls get on with there horses. I gave it 5 stars as I thought it was a good read. I think most horsey or animal friendly people will enjoy the book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Curl up and enjoy! 21 Oct 2013
By Kindle Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
Like her Sweet Cider series, Barbara Morgenroth's Bittersweet Farms series is an excellent series to curl up in a comfy chair and savor! As the series continues, it's as if Talia, Greer, and Lockie are real young people I am watching grow and mature from my back porch. I feel Greer's pain as she tries to deal with her difficult mother. I feel Talia's self confidence grow as she accepts who she is and develops her relationship with her father. And to top it off, the setting for the story is all about girls and the horses they love. It's a series I don't want to end!

Well written and thought out. I really enjoy these books. Occasionally I do not understand what their are talking about in some of the dialog, but it doesnt make the point of the book lost so no big deal.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bittersweet Farm 4 23 Dec 2013
By connie beal - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
The story tells of a family who are learning how to get along despite having a crazy self absorbed mother. It shows how the bond is growing and how they are beginning to like each other. It is an easy read but keeps you interested. You can't put it down.
