Just as in book 2, this book is hot, hot, and hot!

I read book 2 in this series before book one, and while reading them out of order is no problem because Hughes does a fantastic job of setting up her world of Meiers Corners and the denizens thereof, I liked the character of Nixie in book 2 just a bit more than Elena in book 1. Nonetheless, Elena is a winner in her own right, driven by her sense of justice and her need for sex with one irresistible neighborhood watchman, Bo Strongwell. The humor ranges from sly to laugh-out-loud outrageous. Just as in book 2, this book is hot, hot, and hot! Keep a fan handy while reading.
