Product Description

Everyone has heard of Bitcoin in one way or another. It is something that is gaining speed and awareness of the new crypto currency is increasing with the passing of each day.

One of the key areas investors are watching, there are no comprehensively explanatory articles currently out there, which has the effect of making a person feel like they just don't get it.

If you are a techie you will totally understand the multitude of articles relating to Bitcoin exchanges and you might even understand the calculator function, but you will most likely get lost in one of the multitude of monetary and economic articles a normal search of the subject will bring up.

This is why the need to read this book has never been greater. Taking great effort to deliver a clear and concise description of every part of the entire Bitcoin process, from defining exactly what they are, how to get them, how to buy, sell, and 'mine' them, all the financial, legal, economic, and technological concerns that currently encompass crypto currencies in general.

Some have already invested in it and others are just hearing of it. Anyone who has looked into the subject knows how hard it is to understand. If you are an investor and looking for information about buying Bitcoins you might understand the parts you read about Bitcoin value but you will most likely not understand the information on Bitcoin Mining.

As well as all being a one stop place for a short cut to understanding the inner workings of the Bitcoin, from where it came, where it is now, and where it is going, there are complete lists for all exchanges that buy and sell BTC, as well as a list of places to spend them at, and step by step instructions on how online retailers can add the function to accept payment by BTC to their own site.

For those of you that need to be taken back to the very explanation of currencies, this book has exactly what you need. There is no other place that you will find such an easily understood and, most importantly, quick explanation of the highlights throughout time that make the financial system as we know it what it is and how currency as it started being the digital currency (or crypt currency) that it is today.

By the time you finish this book, you will have learned what is happening on the cutting edge of technology in a wide variety of fields, from international economic currency model improvements to computer hardware and software technological design breakthrough.

One thing is for sure, you will be able to have a conversation about things you would never have been able to do before and even come out looking smarter than your educated techie friend or your investor neighbor. So before you pick a wallet and start to buy Bitcoins, take the time to find out what it is and why people are interested in them for both good and bad reasons.

More About the Author

Jonathan A Brooks is a largely self-taught online marketer with considerable experience from email marketing, affiliate marketing and SEO.

When first starting out online in 2003 Jonathan did not comprehend the amazing earning potential available to small online entrepreneurs. However, in 2006 as he grew tired of his job as an accountant he started to look for ways to earn a living online.

He experimented with everything from selling on Ebay to Google Adsense and everything in between.

Although several of Jonathan's business ventures were reasonably successful the income never felt steady enough for him to quit his day-job. His Google Adsense income never amounted to more than a couple of Starbucks coffee's per day, and after having had a bad run after some of the Google updates he realized that if he was ever to quit his day-job he needed something that he could rely on.

It was only after he discovered the powerful combination of email marketing and affiliate marketing that Jonathon finally felt confident enough to take the leap and resign his job as an accountant to focus solely on building his online business.

In Jonathan's own words:
"The beautiful thing about having your own email list is that you truly OWN your business. It's not something that can be taken away from you. No matter how many animal updates Google comes up with or which affiliate programs shut down, when you have your own email list of subscribers and take good care of them you have a sustainable business that you can rely on."

Jonathan is a frequent visitor at Warriorforum and Webmasterworld. When not working on his online business he is either out bass fishing or rock climbing, his two main passions in life.

5.0 out of 5 stars High quality material 14 Oct 2013

I'm getting more and more interested on financial subjects and Bitcoins are definitely something that caught my attention.
I find this book is very well researched and I got plenty of "inside" information from those who know better how to interpret the currency and what happens around it.

I feel I have a good deal of understanding the dynamics of this crypto-currency, how easy it crashes and comes right back on track and this book for sure helped me expanding my mind.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bitcoin Explained 29 Aug 2013
By S. Cox - Published on
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
No one knows at this point what the future holds in terms of currency. International markets depend on the trade of currency to stabilize their markets, but it's proven to be an unreliable system, giving way to crashes, shorts, rampant inflation, and worse. Bitcoin offers an intriguing (if controversial) solution to these problems by creating a currency that is completely virtual and potentially universal. Brooks' book surveys the recent history and creation of the Bitcoin and attempts to show why it matters, and where it might be leading. Interesting read.
1.0 out of 5 stars Not worth it 3 Jan 2014
By Håvard Berland - Published on
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
The author has neither insight in economy or cryptography, and performs various blatant errors due to this in the book.

The title "The Future of Money" expects thoughts about how this can function in the world economy, but little is conveyed to the reader on this subject.

For crypto-technical issues, the author includes quotes from discussion forums on the web.

The book might serve as an ok introduction to people not yet familiar to Bitcoin, but experienced people should go somewhere else.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not worth $0.99 9 Dec 2013
By M. R. - Published on
Format:Kindle Edition
Why is this book named step by step? The book hardly covers the subject let alone helps the user through any step by step instruction. Even at $0.99 this book is not worth it.
