I bought this cable for my black&white PC build and it suits that purpose perfectly, it's just as white as one the pictures, and it is held together without those shrinking tubes.
I have two problems with this cable however. The first is that the cable itself is very stiff, and the bend that is there when it is packaged doesn't really come out at all. The second problem is that the connectors are very stiff as well. When I tried booting up my computer after installing this cable it wouldn't turn on, despite the LED's on my motherboard showing that I actually had power. After a lot of searching I found out that the problem was with this cable. despite it looking like it was properly connected the 4 rightmost pins weren't making contact. Just a general heads up as this has happened to me twice now.
So where does that leave us? If you really need a white cable for your build, this is probably as good as it is going to get, if you can get past the stiffness of the cable and connectors.
