This item is not suitable for the older Leatherman Wave. The older Wave requires an additional tool adaptor and normal hex bits.(Purchase from any DIY store) The new Design incorporates a fold out adaptor into which these flattned bits fit. So check your model 1st!!!
This adaptor is for use with the older Wave units and fits the "standard hex bits"
UNIVERSAL TOOL ADAPTOR (LT25)

I bought this bit set mainly for the allen (hex) keys in metric sizes, as the ones that come with the tool are imperial,(American). As such its quite expensive to pay for 20 bits, but only use a few. Having said that, the quality is good and if you happen to need an assortment of bits, a useful gadget.

If you own a leatherman tool and want to be able to do everything possible... This is what you need
It is useful as you can store your spare tools separately as often if you us the pouch at the back of the leatherman case the tools have a tendency to not want to come out or fall out when you take the tool out... This is very handy.

If you have a Leatherman, and use it for more than simple cutting with the knife or gripping with the pliers, then this is a must have add-on. You get a huge range of bits that cover most situations - ideal for working on computers or electronics devices. Whilst some of the larger allen/torq bits might not engage quite as fully as their full sized counterparts - they have had to be flattened after all - they'll certainly do to get you out of trouble, and they're a darn sight easier to carry around with you.
