The last freeform five dj mix cd 'misch masch' was probably one of my favourite mix albums ever, so I was expecting a lot from this new mix.

While it has the same eclectic spirit as misch masch, the mixing is tighter and smoother. I guess it 'only' has 20 tracks to fit in this time so that could be the reason! This mix is also a bit more uptempo throughout and has some unreleased gems like Etienne de Crecy's (Superdiscount) remix of Mylo's 'Paris 400' and Riton's 'Hammer of Thor.' I love the opening sequence, going from Gossip to Lindstrom seamlessly, and as the mix progresses it gets more and more intense and will have you jumping up and down in your living room/car/down the street before it's 70 minutes are up.

Why is it volume 2 though? Maybe it's a little Freeform joke (their myspace picture has them naked in a box so you never know!)
