I have owned this book for about 18 months and it is, I believe, a must have for those researching their Brummie ancestors. Lots of fascinating photographs of the streets of old Birmingham, including police pictures of the criminal element [if stealing a rabbit is indeed a crime]. Although this book is written with a great deal of humour some of the stories about our ancestors and the conditions they lived in are truly moving. I have recommended this book to friends all over the world.
