David Harvey never fails to provide Birmingham Transport enthusiasts with a well written and well illustrated book. This title deals with the trams and buses in Birmingham during Corronation Year which also coincided with the final abandonment of the trams. A very nice selection of photographs have been provided many of which are previously unpublished. The only reason I have not given Five stars to this title is for the poor reproduction quality which typifies most books from this publisher.

I like everything that DavidHarvey writes about Birmingham buses - very sad to see the trams being destroyed in the 50's
