A wonderful companion for those who birdwatch in Ireland. Beautifully illustrated and thoughtfully laid out into themed chapters, based upon bird groups and seasons.
Packed with information but not 'high brow'. Used in conjunction with a good field guide, this is a great place to start for Irish Birders. Eric Dempsey's own love and enthusiasm for his subject shines through within the text.
