An Excellent Summary of John Gould 21 May 2010
By Charles M. Marsteller - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover Verified Purchase
This book is a careful presentation of the best of the works of John Gould by no less than a descendant who has become an accomplished writer in ornithological illustration.

We are lucky that Mrs Lambourne has taken the time and effort to select Gould's best works as this would not have been an easy task.

This early presentation by Rizzoli (which has subsequently published some very important, high quality books on this subject) is worth owning.
