A very disappointing book, this was purchased for my father who is a very keen bird watcher and visiting the area. It is poorly illustrated, doesn't have any true photo's of the birds and doesn't give a very good description either. All in all NOT good value for money!

Having just recieved this book as a gift,(purchased- amazon)I found not only is paperback (stated hardback)but as book for anyone going to Greece it is of no use, it has badly drawn pictures and no information of greece at all,in fact it would be no good for complete beginers, as the pictures are not a lot like the birds them selves.

As an occasional visitor to Greece and a keen birdwatcher in the UK, I was anxious to buy a book that told me what to expect to see in Greece. I was disappointed to find that this covers a very limited range, omitting even some commonly occurring species.
