I enjoyed this book. It is evocative of Watership Down being both entertaining yet sometimes quite sad.

The author has created a book suitable for reading by older children and adults although younger children would enjoy having it read to them as well. The book may also be useful in the classroom providing a resource for many areas of discussion from conservation to prejudice.

I understand that the author is working on a sequel and I look forward to reading that as well.
