This bird feeder is certainly squirrel proof and also helps keep the larger birds from getting at the peanuts. The smaller birds may take a little time to get used to the feeder but they get there in the end. Recommended.

It took about 10 mins for squirrels to get the top undone. I found a way to lock it closed. They then proceeded to eat through the nut container..they can get their heads through the bars at the base. It took them 4 weeks to get through the wire despitre several tactics to stop them. This is acxtually more like a squirrel feeder with added entertainment for them. They do love a challenge!

bird feeder
This is a very effective bird feeder, it has baffled the attempts of the squirrels to steal the bird food and wreck feeder. The birds are quick to get used to it. Brilliant!
