What is Bionase?
BioNase is a revolutionary medical device for personal use for the treatment of Allergic Rhinitis - Hay Fever symptoms using 630 nm red light.
How does it work?
Bionase is based on the phototherapy principle of treatment with light energy, and uses a visible light source of red light with a frequency of 630nm at a narrow band wavelength. This is the optimal wavelength to achieve the effect of treating Allergic Rhinitis symptoms.

Everything makes me sneeze all year round, even just a change of temperature or humidity. Sometimes it gets triggered and lasts the whole day worse than a full blown cold that leaves me wanting to tear my face off with my bare fingers. Not to mention hayfever season. Antihistamises and Beconase make it bearable but I still have plenty of bad days.
I guess my nose is just ultrasensitive. Demonstrated by the insertion of the probes (on or off) which sends me into a violent sneezing fit. I can sort of control that now by aiming the probes low in my nostrils to avoid touching the most sensitive bits. In fact I have to hold them in place otherwise they slide out, particularly when the nostrils are wet (i.e. most of the time with me). So multitasking while wearing this is limited. Other reviewers haven't commented on this so maybe it is just me.
After using it for 5 days I realised I hadn't sneezed once (other than when using it). It is now 3 weeks on and I have definitely had sneezing sessions and prolonged periods when my nose has been stinging. But the intensity and duration has been much reduced.
The most noticable change is that 9 mornings out of 10 I would ALWAYS have a sneezing fit at some point - unloading the dishwasher, having a shower etc. That hasn't happened since using this device.
I have yet to experience hayfever season or staying in a house with cats so but the change so far has been tangible and very welcome. Whether in the mind or down to the science of a red glowing light I don't care, it has made a difference.

I used this regularly this hay-fever season (as per the instructions), and I have to say that it did not really relieve my symptoms at all. You also look really silly when using it! It may work for some people, just not me.
