This HEPA type replaceable filter removes 99% of airborne pollutants such as pollen, dust, pet dander and mould spores. It fits Bionaire BAP242, BAP242S, BAP412, BAP412S, BAP422, BAP825, BAP825RC, BAP825RCS, BAP830, BAP830RCS, BAP92540, BAP9424, and Holmes HAP240 air purifiers.

Replacement filters are suitable for several of the Bionaire models.
The BAP 412, 422, 825RC, 830, & 9424 all require 2 filters, therefore if needed please enter the quantity as 2.

This is the right replacement for your Bionaire BAP242 Air Purifier. Get one of these and toss your manky old filter away!
Update October 2009: running for about 8 hours every other day, the filter lasted about 10 months.
Prices vary widely, so be sure to shop around. The best prices today are at amazon.com : $16 for one or $25 for two.

Amazon Verified Purchase
I am echoing others when I say that these are expensive, particularly when the postage is added on. Still, you need them, so...The filter doesn't come with the grey sponge outer filter for the BAP242 or BAP9240 so make sure you don't throw them away and clean them occasionally.

Very good product fit perfect and was packaged very well.I would purchase from them again.They were also very good on the price,as i looked else where and found they were a little cheaper than most others for the same product.I am very pleased indeed.

Bionaire Filter for PremIAir Air Purifier
This carbon filter works well, and does not need replaced very often. Possibly around every 6 months of occasional use. At the low price though, it's not an expensive chore. ++

What a rip off!
