Great...if you don't mind noise,

We bought this to replace our much smaller fan that wasn't efficient enough for a large room. It does what it says on the box, it kicks out lots of cool air and that's just on the lowest setting. It is, however, pretty noisy, if you don't mind turning up your TV then it's perfect!

I have just ordered another of these wonderful fans after having had one for the past 3 years. The original one still works perfectly but I want one for the bedroom aswell as the living room. Because there are two differently sized fans on the same spindle it adds incredible efficiency to the cooling process, and does this very quickly too. My additional tip/advice is that,if you have noisy neighbours or parties occuring late at night in the summer near you, the fan will totally eliminate the unwanted noise as the blades are brilliant at slicing up and completely dissipating those annoying sound waves from elsewhere.All you end up with is the whirring of the fan,which is at a constant and pleasant pitch that enables you to get some sleep when other peoples noisy, nearby,activities would disallow this. So, it kills two birds with one stone. It Keeps you cool and banishes unwanted neighbourhood noise. To me that is bliss. Very highly recommended.

This is a very powerful fan that will blow you into next week on the highest setting. It's solidly constructed and has a sturdy base to keep it steady.
It's noisy though, but I guess that's to be expected from a fan this powerful so I've only taken one star off because of that.
