I drink Cider Vinegar Tonic quite often, which is made with cider vinegar and organic honey. I also use it for salad dressings and marinade for baking fish. So it is one of the most used ingredients in my kitchen. After using Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar, which was quite expensive, I decided to make my own with organic Gala apples. Surprisingly I didn't find my homemade vinegar as sweet as Braggs, but it was really good with good layer of mother, which continued forming layers after layers.
Once it got over, I decided to try Biona Organic Cider Vinegar. It came well packed. I am really impressed with Biona Organic Cider Vinegar. It is like home made vinegar with fragments of mother in it with an oaky undertone to it. On the day I received Biona cider Vinegar I transferred it into glass jars and in few of the jars I put Nettles and Rosemary.
What more to say it works great and I feel great after I drink it before I go to bed at night. Wake up feeling refreshed.

Been searching long and hard via high street health stores for a good unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar. Then searched on Amazon. The popular brand names of Braggs etc came up but I felt they seemed pricey. Found this 5ltr Biona, read the reviews and went for it.
In all honesty it is unfiltered and the mother/cloud is present but I sense different people settle for different degrees of how much they'd prefer. For my purpose a lot of mother isn't necessary. I normally buy locally 500ml for £5 (had more cloud in it then the whole of the 5ltr from Biona) so 5ltr at ~£12 is a crazy saving (at a cost of reduced mother). Those people I used to buy for are now looking to source from Biona themselves :)
I've read you can decant into smaller vessels to allow the cloud to grow but I don't need to do so thus I can't verify but I believe it so.

This Biona vinegar is excellent value, mine had lots of "mother", perfect acidity and a wonderful taste. Mixed with raw honey and apple juice it makes a fab drink. Recommended!

ACV is so beneficial and this ticks all the boxes. This is also organic, so consume with confidence. Useful pouring spout. Price is very good to. Of course, it tastes awful but just swill down a drink of water afterwards - job done!

this cider vinegar is so acidic it burns your throat, I made the mistake of thinking all the organic unfiltered un pasturized with the mother were all of the same quality but how wrong was I & as I was using it for heartburn/reflux it made it worse but the Braggs I used before was helping so unless you have a very strong gullet don't purchase it even when you mix with honey & loads of water still acidic & hardly any mother growing in it. very upset i have wasted money.

Bought for myself and give it to my chickens as well. Seems to help with keeping the colds at bay and my lungs seem better. The taste is o.k and take mine with some juice.

I give it 3 stars, because I am comparing it to another brand of ACV which was pricier, hence my trying the much cheaper Biona The difference I found was with Biona there was a complete lack of visible "mother", the taste was utterly tart and required more dilution, in fact I started with 2 table spoonfuls to a glass of water, quickly adjusting to 2 tea spoonfuls. Mild constipation is also a problem. The packaging, well the postman(a good un) had to wrap it in a bag because the outer cardboard was sodden and of course smelt strongly, apparently the container was leaking, he asked if I wanted to accept it , I opened it in his presence to find that the container was dented (a corner deformed) but the contents were secure with no leak.......why was the packing sodden and smelling strongly of vinegar????. poorly packaged? The one thing I did like was the brilliant integral pouring spout.
The other brand of ACV presented no taste problem and was full of visible "mother", it was thicker in consistency and I actually enjoyed taking it and with no adverse side effects, it came very securely packaged and will be my choice in future even though it is more than double the price of Biona.
I have read many reviews with regard to different brands of ACV and accept that others are quite happy with Biona, for myself I write as I find.

ACV is another one of the health drinks that we gulp down. I mix it with raw honey in a 1:1 ratio, as per whathisnames recipe?

I think this product is OK, but as its lasted about a year, I decided that next time I'm going to get a more expensive one, that's made in Somerset. Why? because this one is very acidic. Great for cleaning, but quite a strong health drink.

Of course the one from Somerset is three times the price, so that's a bit of shame but I'll have to wear it.

Update 21 May 2014:
Now that I've had this product in the cupboard for about a year, I can see that there is plenty of 'The Mother' enzyme floating around in the last fifth of the jerry can. It is this part of the liquid that is very effective at removing my husband's seborrheic keratoses. He had about 12 of them on his back. They were very unsightly. He had been to see a dermatologist who referred to them as 'mileage carbuncles'. Because they had been diagnosed by a £200-an-hour specialist, I felt free then to tackle their eradication with ACV. On first using this product directly on the seborrheic keratoses, it had little effect. But as I say, now that its pretty 'aged' itself (lol) it is working extremely well. Basically you dab the things with ACV on a cotton pad. Dab each one about 3 times, making sure the affected area remains quite wet. Mop up any drips. Dab off excess and leave on skin till next shower. My husband said they then generally fall off in the shower and sometimes in quite large pieces. His skin appears perfectly healed underneath, in fact its very difficult to distinguish where they used to reside, as the remnants look more like freckles now and are much smaller and perfectly smooth. There are 3 carbuncles left. They are dark brown.
