a MUST for any into Bio class or review of basics for A & P. 5 Oct 2010
By D. Guest - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
Get this book if you need to review Bio or you are taking an intro to Bio class or an A&P class for review. THis is one of the best of the Dummy Science series and I wish the A&P Dummy book was more detailed. If you have to help your teen with a high school Bio class and you need to review the Krebs cycle...this is your book!

Great purchase. Would not have made it through my online Bio class without it!!!

Must for College! 18 May 2011
By Sherman909 - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
The Biology for dummies helped significantly during my year of college General Bio for PreMed. Although it does not replace the text book it helps to understand the text book. Lets face it, text books are hard to read. This book helped create a foundation that I could later easily expand on with the text book. It was also much more fun to read. I would read the section in this book first to get an idea on the subject than after I would read the section from the text book. This covered everything in my bio class. This is a must have for any college student in General Biology. It is also great for reviewing before finals!

Great starting point. 18 Nov 2010

Great book. It is very easy to read and makes learning fun. I truly love the Dummies books. I am not from the USA, so for me it is more for learning biology in English. It sounds strange, but things like Biology and Chemistry have words and expressions that are not used on your everyday and that is a great way to learn them.
