Fragile connectors, cheap plastic 5 Mar. 2012
By nicodemus - Published on Amazon.com

The feel of this case is pretty cheap- the plastic does not seem tough or durable. I can't comment on the case's functionality because mine broke immediately. It arrived with a note saying to be gentle with the micro USB connector used to charge the battery in the case. I was careful, but any slight bump of the case or cord while charging the case's battery from USB would disconnect it and stop the charging process. I wiggled the micro USB connector to see if the connection was just loose, and the jack popped off and disappeared into the case body immediately. I never even got it mounted on my bike. I don't know if mine was simply defective, but I asked for a refund instead of a replacement, as I don't trust the build quality of this case enough to stick with it.
Survived torrential downpour! 28 Oct. 2012

Great customer service, and product extremely durable. The first unit I received, the little button that activated the battery in the Reecharge didn't work. Contacted the company, they shipped me a new one along with packing/postage to return the defective unit. No problem with new one, process couldn't have been easier. The next two times I used it, it rained. The second of those was on a century ride, with torrential downpour, thunderstorms, etc. The road was a river, this lasted for over an hour. Phone stayed dry, all the functions worked great. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that you still have to take it out of the case to hear/talk with it. Not sure how to fix that but throwing it out there as a challenge to the engineers!

The case seems extremely rugged, I'd not worry at all if it fell off the bike or otherwise fell on the ground. I also use it on the golf course with gps app for yardage with no problems, and don't worry about tossing it on ground next to where my shot will be, or having it bump around in a cart.
Biologic ReeCharge on my Motorcycle 6 July 2012

The BioLogic ReeCharge case is well designed and constructed for mounting my iPhone 4 on my motorcycle's 1 1/8" diameter handlebars between the clamps on aftermarket Renthal CR Mini High Fatbars - 2009 Suzuki 1250SA Bandit. No modifications were needed to install the case and it took only a few minutes. The case is attractive and tough having been dropped from the bike once while removing it resulting in only a minor scuff on a bottom corner; it also seems well sealed providing water resistance if not waterproofing to the iPhone while riding in rain. The BioLogic ReeCharge touch screen is quite sensitive and there are few problems with glare once the optimum mounting angle is achieved by riding and watching the screen in different lighting conditions. The case feels large at first, but probably only because of the iPhone's small size. When removed from the mount, it fits easily in a pocket. Charging the case is quick and easy with the supplied USB ->Mini USB cable, and it will also charge out to another device using the supplied USB->Micro USB cable. Charging the case can be done from a laptop or AC adaptor with USB input. For all the benefits of good design and construction, ease of primary use, and versatility of the case it is a very good value. On a side note, my iPhone is paired to a Scala Rider Cardo G9 Bluetooth receiver on my helmet so hands free GPS (once set up for my destination), incoming or outgoing calls, and especially A2DP iTunes music are all very easy to use and the charge from the case when needed is more than just convenient - it is a necessity when using battery intensive apps like GPS. One word of caution and an opportunity for BioLogic ... don't park your bike and forget the phone is in the case - it doesn't lock and both the iPhone and case can easily be stolen. Biologic should add a security option to lock the case closed, and also lock the case to the mount for those who use it on a motorcycle and stop along a ride and leave the bike in a parking lot while eating or are otherwise away from the bike for a short period.
rattle noise 17 May 2012
By Miguel Garcia - Published on Amazon.com
Tried on my road bike, tighthened all the latches and screws but the phone holder shakes around the fixing mechanism in a way that makes a rattling sound. The phone is secure, and does not seem like will fall, but kills the feeling of being out on the road with your bike...makes you wonder if the sound is from your bike or the holder. A couple times had to hold it so I can make sure the sound wasn't coming from my bike. If you drive in the city traffic you may not care, but if you are in the open road will certainly disturb your ride....

I'm returning it....will save for a real bike GPS.
