5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Biochemistry Textbook, 26 Feb 2006
By Student (Southampton, England) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Biochemistry, 5th Ed. (Hardcover)
This book provides detailed information on all subjects covered by the biochemistry modules in my degree. The layout is systematic, and the diagrams are very useful. I would recommend this to any student looking for a comprehensive biochemistry text to last throughout their degree.

5.0 out of 5 stars a good first year book....., 8 April 2004
By I. M. Savage "mode fan" (Liverpool, UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Biochemistry, 5th Ed. (Hardcover)
As a first year Biochemistry student at the University of Warwick I would defiantly recommend this book to anyone who is taking a degree in Biology/Biochemistry/Microbiology. At Warwick our course follows the content of the book and gives us the recommended reading pages for each topic.
If you have studied A-level Biology I think you will find this book very easy to follow and easy on the eye.
It assumes only knowlege of biochemistry up to A-level standard and then slowly builds to give a very thorough level of understanding.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Must Have., 13 Jan 2002
By Mr. M. Saleem "muzamil" (London, England) - See all my reviews

This review is from: Biochemistry (Hardcover)
I'm an undergraduate student studying Clinical Sciences. I borrowed this book and found I was referring back to it more than the books I bought for the other course units! This book is very thorough, it flows well and all topics are covered well. It's also surprisingly easy to read. Anyone studying biological/health science should have this book
