Very helpful 17 April 2009
Format:Paperback
This book has proved very helpful in my nutritional studies. It has enough detail to prove very useful and informative but is not overly technical. It is written in a manner that essentially assumes you know nothing about the subject. The structure of the book allows the reader to dip in and out where necessary, but the nature of biochemistry requires that some topics are learned in order, therefore, it follows that some reading in order is required.

Would recommend it to anyone studying a subject that requires a little more understanding of biochemistry than they currently have.

Before buying this book I didn't like the idea of the "For Dummies" books, I found the concept patronising, But this book is brilliant! If you want to get in to Biochemistry and learning the basic principles, this book teaches you it in a bite size way and doesn't over complicate the facts.

You can't go wrong with the price, This book is a great place to start on your Biochemical journey.
