Amazon Verified Purchase
I don't use the council's caddy as it's black, ugly and doesn't fit where I want it. The council caddy has a rim of 750mm and these bags are 700mm but they can be carefully stretched (in any case the council supplied bags didn't fit very well either!). Height is fine - caddy 9" (230mm), bag 14" (355mm) with pleated/star base. My own caddy (that I used for compost long before the councils caught on to the idea) is cylindrical - 9" high, 7" diameter - and these bags fit easily, with spare to shake down and tie up when full. Nice to have bags that keep the caddy clean and dry. They meet all the council requirements. They are biodegradable and carry the seedling symbol. Perfect.

Good value for money. Bit of a tight fit for our food waste caddy, but there's enough stretch in the bag to go over the rim. Would certainly recommend.

After paying too much in the supermarket it was great to find a bargain..these are very good value and quality, I will certainly buy more in the future

Good value degradable bags
These bio-degradable bags are robust enough to last for 3-4 trips with a full caddy to the compost bin in the garden. They are labour-saving and good value for money.
