The N1i's digital answer machine features a personalised recording facility, up to 15 minutes recording time and message playback from handset and base.

Style Name:Twin
Usually I don't bother with writing reviews but I thought just this once, This Phone, deserved a standing ovation.
Item came as stated. Second hand so was not expecting it sparkling. It had been used but was in an acceptable condition.
THE GOOD: phone it'self is a beautiful looking piece of machinery. It comes equipped with all sorts of shiny bells and whistles, many ring tones even separate ringtone for the base unit and handset.
THE BAD: The phone's functionality is poor, It losses network regularly. Plus it is one of those phone which does not allow a two way conversation, such as if I am upstairs and pick the upstairs phone up and my wife is downstairs and she would like to talk to the caller, if she picked up the second handset downstairs she would only hear a busy line sound and would not be able to join the conversation. Secondly The volume IS a problem on the handset. I have had other phones in the past and they had better quality audio levels. I thought the it was just the handset hearing but I have had several of my callers state the I sound distance and low whilst on the receiving end of a call.
THE TRUTH, truth about this phone is, (knowing what I now know) I would not have bought this phone if some one had posted a review like this one...and if some one else is thinking of purchasing this handset PLEASE KEEPING LOOKING, This handset has given me nothing but trouble.

this phone arrive well before expected date. good service from amzon. this is not the reason to type a few lines. this phone one of the good cordless i have used. it has two seperate ring tone settings for base and handset. 100 entries for phone book and callers display is an additional feature. sound quality is billiant. Answer phone has a nice option to play back from hand set which makes it very practical.

This set looks smart. The screen is clear and the sound quality is good.
However, the phone book is a bit tricky to set up:
- be properly prepared - otherwise it times out and you lose an entry you are half way through;
- it decides when to use upper case - so instead of getting the "PAUL JONES" you see in the product photograph you are more likely to get "Paul jones" (but you can trick it by entering the Surname first);
- it seems there is no copy feature for the phone book - so you need to enter the details separately on each handset (a rather odd omission for a digital communications device!)
But, despite the Phone Book issues, it is still good value for money.
However, the phone book is a bit tricky to set up:

Calls dropped mid conversation and extremely poor Customer Service
