This book doesn't include lyrics which is disappointing. There is no page review to be able to tell this before ordering.

I purchased this book after buying the Elton John Piano Solos book. (I play from the Elton John book at least once a day, and it has given me so much enjoyment.) I was expecting the same type of arrangements with this one, but I was very disappointed to discover that none of these piano solos sound anything like the recorded versions of Billy Joel's songs. In the Elton John book, songs are written in the original keys and the arrangements are complex and rich-sounding. In this book, the arrangements are in different keys, simplified, and just plain flat. Not one song in this book justified my purchase to be honest.

I bought this book about 2 years ago, and have found it a wealth of fun. It is rather easy, and is not in the original keys, with contributes to easier playing. I think this book would be a good buy for an intermediate piano player, and recommend it for such.
