Adding more warm water to face while shaving increases lubrication of formulation, leading to greater razor glide and greater shaving comfort. Rinse face with warm water.

efficient but no lather!!

Bought this shaving cream because of the decent price and the promise of a traditional shaving cream experience. The cream does produce a reasonably efficient shave , but it has no real lathering qualities , even when used in conjunction with a decent shaving brush. It does not produce a thick creamy consistency as anticipated, but rather a thin and insubstantial covering on the face. Feel a bit cheated to be honest!! Can't recommend.

Let me preface by saying that I'm a big fan of the Billy Jealousy line. I've tried many of their products and consider most of them to be best in class or certainly up there. This shaving cream on the other hand was a complete flop.

To start, there's something about the scent of the stuff that is just downright unappealing. While the odor of this shaving cream doesn't really mean much from a functional perspective, it certainly doesn't make the shaving experience more enjoyable. The actually product is quite thick in nature, and the "whipped cream" name is quite appropriate as that is what it reminds me of.

I always apply it with a synthetic badger shaving brush and it simply fails to lather well. I need to use a boatload of this stuff in order to properly cover the saving area. Furthermore, the protection it provides against the razor is certainly sub par for the price point. I find that the glide of the razor is constantly impeded and is anything but smooth. I end up needing to constantly reapply during the shaving process, which is a real PITA.

The only pro about this shaving cream is that it's better than your $1 Barbasol, but DEFINITELY not worth the ~$20. There are so many other products out there that are far superior in the luxury grooming category. I personally use one of rather the Kyoku sake infused shaving cream of the Kale Naturals smooth shaving cream; both of which are great products that are way better than this one.

This product has poor lather and I would constantly have razor burn after use. I have used conditioner that works better than this product. If you are looking for a good shaving cream I would go somewhere else stick with one of the big name brands in a can. This product didn't last me a month of shaving.
