He says at the end of the series that he doesn't do geography programmes. True, but in terms of being a travel programme you can't help but to be taken in by his passion for street entertainers, art work, pie floaters, climbing the giant coat hanger, Ned Kelly, Harold Holt, dampers, aboriginal food and being in the middle of flat Outback in dry, sun scorched conditions. I lived the series with him and felt the onset of post holiday blues when it ended. Inspirational. Oh, and I really enjoyed the snippets of his string playing and stage performances too!

If you enjoyed the World Tour of Scotland then you will definently enjoy this, if you haven't buy it anyway!! It is a thoroughly enjoyable series and a fantastic way to while away a few hours on a cold winter's evening!!

Format:VHS Tape
I got this video for Xmas shortly after it was shown on BBC 1, and it was even better than the TV show was. If you are in love with the Billy Connolly humor, it is a must buy. His short stand up moments shown in the video are worth the price alone.
