Product Description

The 'Big Yin' performs in front of a live audience for the first time in three years, and the result is captured on this video. The concert footage is taken from two gigs (one in London, the other in Glasgow) during his 1997 tour, and is expletive-littered, as usual, as he casts his eye over life, sex and dachshunds.

This video is an all time classic when looking at Connolly's comedy. The jokes on the second show, especially the story about the upper class, are fantastic. The first show is an fine example of some of his best work, the performance of the jokes are amazingly funny, and have the quality of drawing the audience in even though the big yin is crude and lude.
There are not too many people who can brighten a rainy day, but this performance does.
Thank you Billy!

I have a lot of Billy's vids & it's about thime there's on DVD now. Out of all the vids this has to be one of the best if not THE best. The material is still frest & vibrant. You truly see the eagle eyed lunatic that makes up Billy. It’s a vid that you really can watch over & over & it doesn’t get tires. (Noodles & chicken soup always make me smile now!) I does have some swearing in it but it’s not at all offensive, and you’re laughing with him at the stupid things in life rather than at him. A great buy.

I am so so happy that this is now available on DVD. These are by far the funniest shows that Billy has done and I am really looking forward to watching them over and over again. He truly displays his observational genius in these shows and it will have you crying will laughter.

Once again Billy Connelly offers up a night of pure comedy. Featuring a show in London and Glasgow and somewhere in between he loses his beard.
His bid to enter Glasgow for the Olympics and tales of gymnasts with wee bunches and whether toboggoning should be a vocation will make you wonder why Sydney and not Glasgowfor the 2000 Olympics?
With the usual anecdotes of his colourful youth this is undoubtedly Connelly at his best.
