I bought this for my wife. Mr Connolly continues to deliver consistently, though he appears to get even more curmudgeonly - and even more vehement as he gets older. Religion gets a consistent trashing by him in one of the later disks so - if you are a practicing Muslim or Catholic (and as Billy says "can't take a joke") you may not want to purchase this set.

On the other hand, I think everyone should watch this: it'll make you laugh and think, if your mind is open enough.

This box set is amazingly good value for money. Typically side-splitting humour which left me with tears of laughter rolling down my face. The great thing about Billy Connolly is that you never know where he's going with his train of thought so the element of surprise makes the eventual destination even funnier. Great entertainment - hours of rollicking good fun - love it!

Before I watched the live performances fetured in this box set, I didnt know much of billy's stuff. But after buying the box set myself, I am in love with billy's mind, he is a brilliant comedian and this box set shows some of this greatest jokes, stories and performances.

A Must Buy As It Will Brighten Up Your Day For Hours On End.
