I got this box set as a present for Christmas and its hardly been off the dvd player since.Its a brilliant cross section of Billy's career spanning over thirty five years.My personal favourite is Billy's 'World Tour Of Scotland'(a two disc set) which mixes stage performance clips with wonderful scenic clips of Scotland.This particular dvd is also quite educational for anybody with an interest in Scotland.
'Live In New York' is also brilliant and superbly witty...but not for those easily offended.Billy pulls out all the stops in this one and the result is a cracking show.The other three dvds included are all highly entertaining also.As the total running time for all dvds is almost twelve hours this box set is brilliant value.Thoroughly recommended!!

Yes you get a lot of Billy doing what he does best here. This box set includes a two disc World Tour of Scotland which has him travelling to his old haunts and giving us a history lesson on his native Scotland from the Borders to Shetlands. They intersperse some live footage from his tour which was a bonus, but if you watch the live in Hammersmith before watching this you will notice that the stand up routines are the same. It must've been from the same tour which I felt a bit cheated about, could they not have included another stand up DVD instead?
But this box set does include Billy and Albert, which is the funniest of the lot. And also the live in New York has a great routine on hospitals which was hilarious.

Get it, get it, get it! I can't recommend this boxset further. A really great collection of Billy's work. Will cheer you up on your bluest day :D
