Every Blanks workout comprises an introduction, a warm-up, a workout and a cool-down. With a live recording featuring a wide range of ordinary people who look extraordinarily fit thanks to Blanks' tough, no-nonsense attitude, there is plenty of incentive right from the beginning. But as the warm-up goes into lunges, it's clear that this regime is not for anyone less than serious about fitness. The basic workout combines Blanks' best moves for an all-round cardiovascular session. There are loads of new moves on this challenging DVD, so you are not repeating previous workouts. I am still mastering some of the moves! I have stuck with Tae Bo because Billy Blanks makes it such good fun that I never get bored and want to give up (I have loads of tapes that I have tried a few times and stopped because they are so boring).
I have lost several inches all over, but have only lost 4lbs. The most notable improvement has been to my "saddlebag" thigh area, and the tops of my thighs. Tae Bo has done me the world of good.
