As a lifelong birder, I have my share of humourous tales to recount, but Oddie does so with such style and panache! I recommend this book to the birder and non-birder alike, as the humour is Pythonesque at times!

A collection of light and funny birding tales, mainly centred around the UK.
Easy to read, and entertaing - if you dip in and out. Trying to read everything in one go, is a little repetitive!

Just got this book for Christmas and it was very good read it already very good Bill tells us about birding adventures across the world but mainly Britain from finding a Pallas's Bunting on Shetland to watching 50 scissor tailed flycatchers in America this is is very good would recommend to everyone who is a Bill Oddie fan
