Format:DVD
Bill Hicks, a genius, a stand up comedian and 'preacher' of the highest calibre, his premature death a great loss. Fortunately we have some of his best performances written to CDs, VHS tapes, and now DVD. Having bought the only other dvd of his available to date (totally Bill Hicks), this dvd is a shameful disappointement. Why, is it because Hicks wasn't his usual insightful and hysterical self ? No far from it, his genius shines through, so why only 3 stars ? Because this CD is less than half an hour long that's why and contains all the jokes seen on the aforementioned DVD I played it first time through and wondered if it had a fault as it stopped so early. My advice is to buy 'totally' sit back a enjoy the ride.

Format:VHS Tape
'HBO' commissioned this 30-minute special after Hicks' appearances on the Letterman show, and it shows. His scathing wit, biting satire and frequent diversions into profanity are toned down, and though some jokes hit the mark, this is NOT vintage Hicks. That said, there's moments of inspiration (existing largely in the uncensored material which comes direct from his club shows). For more worthy material, seek out the CD albums 'Relentless' and 'Rant In E-Minor'; 'One Night Stand' is not a suitable tribute to this visionary genius.

Brilliant Material, but it's far too short. Not worth paying over £7 for in my opinion, as it lasts only 30 minutes. But contains some comic gems not included on the Totally Bill Hicks DVD.

Bill Hicks is nothing short of an inspiration. I recommend this to absolutly anyone, no matter what ur taste. Bill is Brutally honest and hilarious at the same time.
