One of THE Funniest Albums EVER!!!!!,

Well the name says it all really. I mean it dosent take Einstein to work out what Killer Pussy (can i say that? too late!!) are all about. The lyrics arent up to much but they are the funniest lyrics ive heard in a long time. From the groans and moans of Dildo Desire to the comic joys of Dial-A-Teen "they've got lots of little girls and boys who are bound to bring you kinky joys" there is no way you can keep a straight face when listening to this album especially "HERPES keeps the boys away HERPES down on your knees and pray" what more can i say ?? Absolute Genius.....

Risque & Rockin'!! - An Overlooked New Wave Treasure!,

I just wanted to set the record straight... Killer Pussy was one of the biggest local New Wave bands in Phoenix back in the 80's. Featuring the outlandish costumes and stage exploits of lead chanteuse, Lucy LaMode, they released several independent singles and EP's, but this Bikini Wax LP, originally released on vinyl in 1982, was their defining work. The single, "Teenage Enema Nurses in Bondage", was picked up and played in high rotation as a "signature song" by KROQ in Los Angeles, causing it to be "name-checked" in Bret Easton Ellis' novel "Less Than Zero" which glamorized the fast-living California drug and sex culture in the 80's and was later made into a movie. Killer Pussy played showcase concerts in California and NYC and hobnobbed with a who's who of punk rock and new wave stars back in the day, but never got the recognition and backing they so richly deserved and alas, this recording is all that remains of their legacy. Check out the song titles shown above... killer, boppin' tunes with snotty guitars, new wave keyboards and sexy Betty Boop-style vocals make this a guilty pleasure you won't want to take out of the CD player.

This may not have been much of a commercial success, but it still has a lot of great punk. Throughout the years, Bikini Wax has graced many a mixed tape of mine. I strongly reccomend checking this out.

Yep. Puerile, juvenile, at turns great fun, at turns lame...eh, er.. Punk. Still, you can beat "Bikini Wax Walk" for a feel-good instrumental piece of genius. It'll have you up and dancing in ten seconds flat. Someone should do a remix or extended version. Click on the audio sample and hear for yourself.
