Product Description

LED Bike Turn Signal wireless right and left indicator

There's no doubt that when it comes to staying safe on a bike, being seen is paramount. And that's where this wireless LED bike signal steps in to shine a little light on proceedings.

Simply strap the lightweight reflective LED pack to your back using the belt provided, fit the remote control to your handles and indicate whether you want to turn left or right with the click of a button!

No wires, no fuss! Super bright amber LEDs light up in a flashing arrow-shape, indicating which way you're set to turn. There's no doubt that when darkness hits, it beats the traditional 'stick your right arm out to turn right and your left arm out to turn left' by a (safely cycled!) mile.

Not only that, a beeping sound is emitted too - great for alerting passersby and reminding you to click the indicator off once you've turned the corner.

T There's even a hazard-style distress function - just press the central button to set the lights flashing continuously. Finally, the whole thing's waterproof, so you can be sure you'll still shine on in the rain.

Got this for Christmas, and was a bit dubious at first, as the packaging for the light seemed to be something knocked up in a cheap workshop in that industrial power house that is China. The on/off switch for the rear section appeared also to be very small and fiddly, little more than a needle poking out from the bottom of the unit, and the outer part of the packaging seemed to just have reflective tape similar to duck tape stuck to it. It does keep the rear unit water tight.
However, I have used it on the back of a ruck sack, and adapted the unit to fit on the rear of my pannier rack [a couple of zip ties, some velcro to secure it to an appropriate length of plastic to fit through the belt loops], and it does work effectively, to the point when as I turned right in the dark this morning an approaching car almost came to a halt rather than overtake me. Was it alarm, shock or being startled and blinded by the lights? Who can say.
Haven't had it long enough to comment on battery life, but the front sender unit fits onto the crowded handle bars of my touring bike, and both units have survived a very rainy trip home this evening. Am going to fit it with rechargeable batteries once those supplied run out and see how long they work for.
All in all, could be a life saver, and worth the novelty value as well as the confidence boost they represent.

Great set for electric bike etc.
does either way or both for hazards like in a car.
fastens to you via a belt or could go on vehicle by velcro or glue on, only belt option supplied, best safety feature for bike ive seen to save throttle release before turns.

I HAVE HAD THIS ITEM FOR ABOUT 5 WEEKS NOW, AND I MUST SAY, IT IS A LITTLE EMBARASSING BUT, IT IS A GOOD THING FOR SAFETY RREASONS TOWARDS OTHER MOTORISTS BECAUSE IN THE DARK, MOTORISTS CANNOT SEE YOU EVEN WITH THE BIKE LIGHTS AND ALSO THEY CAN TRY SPOT YOUR ARM SIGNAL, BUT, WITH HAVING THESE, YOU CAN BE SEEN FROM A LONG DISTANCE AS THEY ARE VERY, VERY BRIGHT AS THEY NEARLY BLINDED ME BECAUSE I WAS TESTING THEM AFTER INSTALLATION OF THE BATTERIES SO YEAH. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST INVENTIONS BY THE SAFETY CAMPAIGN AND POSSIBLY THE GOVERNMENT ON SAFETY OR WHOEVER.

It does the job that i bought it for.I don't think the manufacture quality is £20 worth more like £10- rather flimsy plastic mouldings, but there is nothing else like it on sale this side of the Atlantic.

I am very pleased with this item, which I truly believe is a life saver when you are riding a cycle and unable to give a signal when turning due to the dangerous condition of the road...I have fitted this to my rear cycle basket with ties and it works very well

Quite flimsy for the money but it works good. Very bright light output so dont stand too close.
